We have added a forum to help everyone find assistance as well as offer support to all the San Diego wild fire victims: link to http://forum.rebuildshangrila.com
Thank you all for your continued support and prayers

Thank you for your prayers and support. Right now we are all stunned and in shock with this disaster, we will be updating this site with as much information we can get our hands on. We want to keep everyone as informed as much possible which will be the point of this site.
As you know, hundreds of homes were lost in the San Diego area during the past several days due to the wildfire disaster. Thousands of families have been evacuated and with some luck many will be able to return to their homes soon.
We are among those who have lost everything. Our home, the Shangrila, was lost on Sunday, Oct. 21st during the Witch Creek fire. We are blessed to have our health, our family, and our friends. We are a strong family and we can get through this but it’s going to be a rough road and from what we understand a very slow process. We send our prayers and our love to all the families who find themselves in need.
We are slowly coming to grips with what it really means to have lost everything; Lela is devastated by the loss of her toys and favorite blanket, Charlie keeps asking for his wooden rocking horse his grandparents made him and Piper needs her routine back; and I would give anything to be able to go back and grab her baby video tapes, her first laugh, her first smiles. I will miss those tapes. I keep remembering the little things, a pair of froggie boots Charlie had that we found at a garage sale, or the playset that took six months to build because my husband wanted to build it himself so our kids could have a safe place to play. Even the big things that we sacrificed for and worked so hard to finally get are in ruins. It breaks my heart when I start to think about my husband working all day long, coming home and spending time with us, then working again well into the night so we could try to get ahead. All that he had worked so hard for is gone.
It is so hard to find ourselves homeless and having to ask for your prayers and support. Please share our story with your friends and family. I will try to keep everyone in touch and respond to all my emails as often as possible.
Thank you so much, we are so grateful for all your prayers, love, and kindness.
